Legal Forecasters believe in challenging the status quo and re-imagining our systems of law and justice so that they better serve society at large.
We achieve this by empowering a grassroots community of entrepreneurial, early-career legal leaders to create meaningful change across Australia and worldwide.
Our initiatives, including Disrupting Law, TLF Connect and TLF OnSpeaker:
educate about innovation and new technologies of relevance to law and access to justice;
use design thinking approaches to identify novel solutions to problems faced by lawyers and their clients; and
connect students and early-career leaders with industry mentors in legal innovation.
Importantly, we aim to leverage our reach and resources to support initiatives aimed at improving diversity and inclusion, and mental health.
The Law Council of Australia has recognised The Legal Forecast’s ‘significant contributions to the legal profession [through] empowering new ideas and changes through the lens of technology, innovation, wellbeing and access to justice.’

A unique 54-hour hackathon for tertiary students, focused on finding new opportunities in the legal sector through design thinking and interdisciplinary collaboration.
